Hi all;

Why is my Eclipse-Pydev continue to take up 50% of my cpu time even when
it is just sitting there. This when I am running an Intel -5-750
processor with 4 cpu's running at a minimum of 2.65 GHz. Is this normal?

Also, the menu bar is black letters on a very dark gray background. The
script just disappears. I tried changing the window preferences but
could not find any way to change these parameters.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Gary,

Regarding the 100% CPU utilization, this is not normal... please report
this to https://sw-brainwy.rhcloud.com/tracker/PyDev/ including your
eclipse version, pydev version, os and a stack dump on what's happening at
this point -- https://wiki.eclipse.org/How_to_report_a_deadlock has details
on how to get it (using jvisualvm).

Best Regards,

Fabio

Oh, regarding the dark gray background, can you provide a screenshot so
that I can know what you're talking about?

Hi Fabio;

That was 50% not 100%. Do you still want me to report it.
